Murundak: Songs of Freedom

Murundak: Songs of Freedom follows The Black Arm Band, a gathering of some of Australia's finest Aboriginal musicians, as they take to the road with their songs of struggle, resistance and freedom.

Drawing inspiration from classic rock and protest imagery from the 60's, Small Studio created a unique collaged key art that embodies the film's multiple themes, speaks to a broad audience and captures a few of the band's many famous faces.

After rolling out the design over a bunch of posters, we adapted the key art for the documentary website, built using the client-friendly Silverstripe content management system.
